Stone name: Zhanguo Warring States agate is a newer discovery from one of the many volcanic provinces in north eastern china. They are known for their dense feel and bright coloration. Agates with patterns and bands are found to be most desirable with the banded agate formation being a favorite. This stone is a carnelian agate, drawing its color from iron oxides. This stone is a treat to hold.
