This crescent moon pendant holds the chill and glow of the year’s first frost. Layers of marcasite and crystal shimmer over Aurora opal, giving the surface a wintry sparkle like ice catching starlight. The antiqued copper frame cradles the curve of the moon in a design that was as difficult to create as it is striking to wear.
This was an experiment in form, and it may be the only one of its kind. The setting pushed the limits of wirework, and while the result is luminous, it is not a design I know I’ll ever return to. If this moon speaks to you, it may be your only chance to bring one home.
