How This Started💭
The first night hike happened on May 31st. I had walked that stretch of beach myself and knew it would work. I trusted my gut, put it out there, and people who already knew my vibe showed up. And it was a huge success.
Some came to grieve. Some came to prove they could. Some just needed the noise to stop. I saw the need clearly and built it to serve real people with real nervous systems who needed an honest place to soften.
We can’t rockhound at night, and summer daytime is just sand. So, I built this from the ground up, a guided experience that draws on my skills as a coach, a guide, and a sensory sensitive human. It’s rooted in place, science, and transformation and it only works because it’s just for this beach, this time, with people like you.
We were half full for the second hike before the first one had even finished. That told me everything.
What to Expect🤔
This is a 2.5-mile round-trip coastal walk starting as the sun is setting and ending in the dark. The terrain is uneven, sandy, and changes with the tide and we like it that way.
We begin in silence. We walk slowly. We stop a handful of times each way.
Some people follow the prompts. Some write a poem in their heads. Some just breathe. There is no wrong way to do it.
At the end, you will find a campfire built for us while we were on our journey. We pass out snack bags and hot drinks. There’s an optional thank-you circle, and a sound healing session led by Goldie. If it sounds like a ceremony, that’s because it kind of is. But it's also just a really good walk in the dark with other humans trying to feel more like themselves. No worries if this last part isn't for you, some people prefer to grab a drink, snack and take time to go refect by themselves. That's ok too.
