Discover the Oregon Coast Treasure Hunt with Laura!
Join us for a Private Oregon Coast Treasure Hunt in Lincoln City, Oregon... a guided beach adventure where we'll search for shells, fossils, cool rocks, sea glass, Finders Keepers Floats, driftwood treasures, marine life, and whatever other surprises the tide leaves behind. 🌊🔍
This up to 2-hour experience begins with a brief orientation covering beach safety, what treasures might be found, and how experienced beachcombers approach the shoreline.
Then we head out to follow our curiosity and see what the Oregon Coast has to offer that day... all with Rock Your World's own science educator, geology communicator, licensed guide, and lifelong beachcomber, Laura Joki.
Unlike our Beachcombing Adventure, this experience is less structured and more exploratory. We'll follow interesting discoveries, answer questions along the way, and let the beach determine the day's adventure. Every hunt is different, and while we often find fascinating treasures, no specific finds are guaranteed.

- Cool rocks, fossils, shells, Finders Keepers Floats, petrified wood, sea glass, driftwood treasures, animal sign, marine life, interesting beach artifacts & more
- Learn basic beach safety and collection guidelines
- Discover how experienced beachcombers choose where to walk, where to look, and how to make the most of their time on the beach
- Follow your curiosity and ask questions along the way
- If we find tide pools, learn how to safely explore them for treasures and sea life friends. Touch your first sea anemone!
- Every treasure hunt is different because every beach is different

All legally allowed finds (within Oregon collection limits) are yours to keep... no extra fees, just whatever treasures the beach decides to share.

33rd Street Beach Access (north of Sandcastle Beachfront Motel)
Public parking: 35th & 32nd Streets, and SW Anchor Ave between the two streets listed.

- Warm, waterproof layers
- Durable well-draining or waterproof outdoor shoes (open-top boots not recommended)
- Gloves, snacks, water
- A durable bag or container for your finds
- Optional: your best beach buddy (well-mannered dogs welcome!)
