Spend up to two hours exploring the Oregon Coast with a licensed guide, science educator, and lifelong beachcomber while learning how experienced beachcombers approach the shoreline, where they look, and what clues they pay attention to.
Perfect for families, first-time visitors, curious explorers, and anyone who has ever wondered what they might be walking past on the beach without realizing it.
Unlike our Oregon Coast Geology, Rockhounding & Beachcombing Adventure, this experience is less about geology and more about exploration, observation, and seeing what surprises the beach decides to share.

- $149 includes up to 4 participants.
- Additional participants: $25 each.
- Children below school age attend free.

🌊 What Happens During a Treasure Hunt?
We'll begin with a brief orientation covering:
- Beach safety
- Collection guidelines
- Common treasures found on Oregon beaches
- A few simple tricks experienced beachcombers use to decide where to look
Then we'll head out onto the beach and see what we discover together.

👉🏻 Some days we find shells.
👉🏻 Some days we find fossils, floats, driftwood treasures, tide pools, animal tracks, or something completely unexpected.
That's the nature of a treasure hunt.
Every beach is different.
Every day is different.
While we often find fascinating treasures, no specific finds are guaranteed.
What I can promise is answers to your questions, a safer and more confident approach to exploring the beach, and the chance to see the Oregon Coast through new eyes.

Our Oregon Coast Treasure Hunt is designed to work during a wide range of beach conditions and may be available much of the year.
Unlike our Oregon Coast Geology, Rockhounding & Beachcombing Adventure, this experience does not require ideal geology conditions to be enjoyable.
If the beach is safe and there's potential for adventure, there's a good chance we can go treasure hunting.
We'll continue adding dates as conditions and demand allow.
