This stone is LOUD. Deep midnight azurite runs through electric turquoise and green malachite, with tiny orbs, rings and mineral textures scattered across the surface. The freeform edge follows the natural character of the material instead of forcing it into a tidy little shape, and I wrapped it to keep as much of that chaos visible as possible.
Azurite and malachite are both secondary copper minerals, commonly forming together as copper-bearing deposits weather and oxidize. The chemistry gives us that extraordinary contrast... copper carbonate minerals producing saturated blues and greens that barely look real. This piece is natural and unstabilized, with polished areas alongside pockets of original mineral texture.

Available in our Lincoln City shop and online. Natural, unstabilized azurite-malachite with this kind of color and pattern is not something I can reproduce, and neither is the freeform wrap built specifically around it. One stone. One pendant.
