This stone looks like weather moving across a desert sky. Cream and gray silica clouds drift through the top while warm honey and ochre tones settle toward the base. Fine plume structures move through the stone like windblown mineral smoke locked inside the rock.
This Oregon plume jasper formed from silica-rich waters depositing layer after layer in volcanic ground. The plume patterns grew as mineral-rich fluids moved through the forming stone, creating the drifting shapes seen inside. Cut to follow the natural flow of the pattern and wrapped in hammered copper to echo the curves of the stone. Only one available.
