This one catches light from two completely different worlds. The Spirit Plume Agate is earthy and intricate, filled with rust red, cream, green secondary copper minerals, tiny crystalline hollows, and a surprising sparkle that moves across the stone. Above it, Ethiopian Welo opal throws bright flashes of green, gold, orange, and red through the dark curls of antiqued copper.

I built this pendant by hand around the stones, using sculptural copper wire to connect the sparkling Spirit Plume with a fiery Welo opal while leaving plenty of open space for light to move through the piece. The Spirit Plume is exceptionally rare material, and its combination of secondary copper minerals, crystalline pockets, plume textures, and natural sparkle made it worth designing around rather than taming into something ordinary. Only one available.
