About Jammie Pants Jasper
Meet Jammie Pants Jasper. A newly located Picture Jasper (with occasional plume or agate patch), textured cryptocrystalline quartz lapidary material with a hardness of approximately 7.75 and cuts like Bruneau Jasper taking a super high polish. Our Jammie Pants deposit is HUGE and varied and we will be learning more about all the available patterns as we work the mine.
How did it get such a name? Well, our first claim jumper was up on the hill in which this jasper is found, in his JAMMIE PANTS! LOL So we named the hill and jasper after his fuzzy plaid jammie pants. The name fits through because we have so many different patterns and varieties it's just like jammie pants!
