This one is basically carrying its own weather system. At rest, the labradorite is a quiet smoky gray. Move it into the light and a huge electric blue flash rolls across nearly the entire face of the stone. The asymmetrical freeform cut makes that color feel even more alive.
Labradorite is a feldspar known for labradorescence, an optical effect produced when light interacts with microscopic structures inside the stone. That means the blue isnāt pigment or an inclusion. It appears, shifts and disappears depending on the viewing angle, which is exactly why labradorite is so ridiculously fun to wear.
