A mushroom made from an ancient ocean creature. Because apparently the forest and the sea have decided to collaborate. This one has a broad, honey-colored fossil coral cap covered in natural circular patterns, with copper spirals curling across the top and an airy woven stem below. It's earthy, a little peculiar, and exactly the sort of thing a dedicated woodland goblin would recognize as treasure.
Fossil coral preserves the skeletal structures of ancient coral colonies, often replaced by silica over geological time. Those little circular patterns are remnants of the coral's original structure, not something painted or carved into the stone. The handwoven copper setting turns that ancient marine history into a mushroom, bringing two very different natural worlds together in one rather wonderful artifact.
