This one glows from inside. A deep smoky labradorite with a broad molten-gold flash running through the center, edged by smaller hits of blue, teal and green as the stone moves through the light. The long organic shape lets the color travel instead of trapping it in a neat little window. It feels earthy until the angle changes... then the whole thing wakes up.
Labradorite is a plagioclase feldspar famous for labradorescence, an optical effect created when light interacts with extremely fine internal structures in the feldspar. That color isnāt pigment or an inclusion sitting on the surface. It comes from light interference within the stone itself, which is why this pendant can shift from dark gray to brilliant gold and blue depending on your angle.
