This piece feels like movement caught in stone. The green aventurine was cut into an unapologetically abstract freeform, all sweeping edges and open curves, then wrapped in copper that follows the shape instead of trying to tame it. It feels earthy, strange, and a little windswept.
Aventurine is a quartz-rich stone whose subtle shimmer comes from tiny mineral inclusions within the stone. I wrapped this one in hand-forged copper, hammering the crossing lines for texture and finishing the top with a tight spiral that anchors the whole composition. The stone dictated the design, so there won't be another one quite like it. Only one available.
