At its heart is Lavender Moon Quartz from Bahia, Brazil, a rare material associated with the historic Boquira Mine, which closed in 1992. Its gentle violet color and delicate internal patterns give each stone its own personality. I shaped the sterling silver by hand, building a coiled stem and wandering vines around the quartz. This is the only pumpkin I'll ever make exactly like this one.
