This moss agate holds a tiny landscape in translucent lavender chalcedony. Dark green dendritic inclusions climb one edge of the stone, fading into soft purple and cloudy layers that shift as the light moves through it.
The freeform cut preserves the strange little world inside the stone instead of forcing it into symmetry. I wrapped it in sterling silver with a combination of smooth and hand-hammered wire, following the angles of the cabochon and leaving plenty of stone exposed. Only one available.
