Lavender-blue chalcedony surrounds scattered flower-like structures in rust red, ochre, gold and deep burgundy, with tiny crystalline pockets breaking up the polished surface. The crescent cut makes the whole thing feel especially strange and organic... exactly the kind of stone that rewards staring.
The colorful rounded and flower-like structures are preserved inside chalcedony, creating patterns that can shift dramatically across a single piece of rough. This pendant was cut specifically to keep those structures visible while letting the natural pockets and textures remain part of the stone.
